📋 Description

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project-specific risks before and during execution • Develop and monitor contingency and mitigation plans for critical activities • Ensure project activities comply with legal requirements, GE Vernova corporate standards, and the client’s contractual EHS requirements • Act as a strategic partner to the Project Manager • Participate in progress meetings, manage the client’s EHS expectations, and represent the organization during construction-site or site audits • Determine EHS resource requirements based on the project schedule and the complexity of each project phase • Assess EHS impacts resulting from changes to scope, schedule, or methodology, ensuring that safety is not compromised

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a related field • Previous experience in a similar role • Extensive knowledge of safety regulations applicable to major construction, installation, or long-term maintenance projects, including specific regulatory standards for construction and installation • Advanced Spanish • Intermediate English • Willingness and availability to travel domestically and internationally to field locations and project sites
