📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert on long-acting injectable implementation, access, reimbursement education, and stakeholder readiness for PrEP Institutions across the East region • Engage Pharmacy Directors and other decision-makers at PrEP Institutions regarding Gilead LAIs and compliant implementation considerations • Develop, refine, and execute implementation concepts, approaches, and standards to improve patient access to prescribed Gilead LAI PrEP medications • Act as the prime external-facing contact for significant LAI implementation matters and coordinate responses and resources across internal partners • Address questions related to LAI PrEP acquisition, workflow development, implementation logistics, and access/reimbursement education • Develop solutions to complex stakeholder, workflow, access, and reimbursement challenges while maintaining compliant business practices • Determine field priorities, stakeholder engagement approaches, escalation pathways, and cross-functional coordination for regional access goals • Monitor healthcare policies, payer and market trends, reimbursement pathways, specialty pharmacy dynamics, and buy-and-bill developments • Identify improvement opportunities and translate field insights into broader process recommendations • Contribute to reports and updates for senior leadership through the Director of LAI Implementation • Represent Gilead externally with professionalism, sound judgment, and cultural sensitivity • Model Gilead’s values and comply with its Code of Ethics, Business Conduct policies, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements • Create inclusion, develop talent, and empower teams as a people leader

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of related experience OR Master’s Degree/MBA and 8+ years of related experience • Experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access, market access, implementation, account engagement, or related commercial access functions • Expertise in long-acting injectable implementation, provider workflow development, access and reimbursement education, specialty pharmacy models, HUB services, and acquisition models including buy-and-bill • Understanding of payer, provider, pharmacy, and pharmaceutical-company reimbursement relationships, including commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and specialty payer pathways • Experience engaging large, complex provider accounts or institutions and influencing senior stakeholders • Ability to develop solutions to complex business and customer challenges, exercise sound judgment, and drive cross-functional execution • Ability to translate field insights, policy changes, payer trends, and stakeholder feedback into process and access improvements • Experience leading through influence and coordinating matrixed partners without direct authority • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Willingness to travel up to 75% across the designated region • Commitment to Gilead’s ethical, compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements
