📋 Description

• Calculate, adjust, and process sales commissions for thousands of agents • Answer commission queries and explain commission calculations • Research commission problems, troubleshoot root causes, and take corrective actions to ensure accurate pay • Perform accounting and auditing of commission accounts • Maintain the commission database, including data entry and maintenance • Ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions • Maintain records and documentation supporting audit requirements • Audit commission statements accurately and in detail • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly commission processes • Explain payout timing, payout form, commission percentages, and related details • Analyze commission disputes, research discrepancies, and reconcile variances • Enhance current processes through deeper understanding of the commission process • Assist with questions about 1099s and general 1099 preparation • Perform other assigned functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; or equivalent years of analytical experience • Prior experience with sales compensation calculations and reporting is a plus • Background in the insurance industry is a plus • Familiarity with compensation tools such as Varicent, Xactly, or SAP Callidus is a plus • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, organization, and handling confidential information with discretion • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • High emotional intelligence (EQ), adaptability, flexibility, and ability to learn quickly under pressure • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access • Reliable and predictable attendance of assigned shift • Ability to work full time and/or part time based on position specifications
