📋 Description

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjust low to moderately complex auto claims involving third-party injuries and first-party uninsured or underinsured motorist losses • Confirm that coverage is active for the loss • Investigate liability by researching applicable laws and regulations, interviewing parties, analyzing damage photos, and reviewing police reports • Negotiate and settle injury claims with claimants, policyholders, or their attorneys • Perform routine work assignments and resolve problems under direct supervision • Provide claims service through various channels to members and third-party customers • Apply knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products, services, processes, policy contracts, coverages, and GM Insurance claims procedures • Seek guidance and identify issues for escalation • Partner with or direct vendors and internal business partners to facilitate claims resolution • Contribute to business goals and performance metrics while effectively using tools and technology • Support workload surges and catastrophe operations as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in an inbound phone-intensive, contact center environment using a headset • Knowledge of building lasting relationships with internal and external customers and business partners • Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to implement and adapt to rapid change • Ability to navigate and work in multiple systems simultaneously • Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot • Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias • Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights • Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection • High School Diploma or equivalent required • 4+ years of auto claims adjusting experience required • 2+ years of experience handling injury claims required • Insurance Adjuster License required • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred • FL/GA/TX/AZ experience preferred
