• Conduct and oversee facility condition assessments for federal facilities • Coordinate with Facility Managers and project stakeholders before, during, and after site visits • Lead site briefings, project reviews, and assessment activities • Review assessment documentation and ensure compliance with established standards • Maintain accurate facility condition assessment databases and records • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to assessment teams • Train and mentor Facility Assessors and technicians on assessment procedures and data collection methods • Develop and implement best practices for facility assessments • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and leadership • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies • Support multi-site assessment projects and ensure consistency in data collection and reporting • Conduct field inspections at client facilities nationwide • Travel to client sites throughout the United States and occasionally internationally • Work from a home office when not traveling
• Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, OR 5+ years of hands-on experience performing facility condition assessments, building inspections, facilities management, construction inspection, or related technical work • Experience using facility assessment software, CMMS systems, ESMS platforms, or similar facility management technologies • Strong understanding of building systems, facility infrastructure, and asset management principles • Ability to analyze data and produce accurate technical reports • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to project sites • Ability to travel internationally • Ability to walk, stand, climb ladders, and navigate active facilities and construction environments • Ability to access mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined areas as required • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and operate technical equipment • U.S. work authorization • U.S. citizenship required for the contract • Willingness to undergo a background check • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field • Preferred: Professional certifications related to facilities management, building inspections, asset management, or engineering • Preferred: Experience supporting federal government facilities programs • Preferred: Previous experience leading assessment teams or technical field personnel
