📋 Description

• Process, review for compliance, enter data, and file Independent Contractor records • Maintain departmental records through timely and accurate paperwork processing • Review requests to set up new Independent Contractors and verify contracts and required documentation against company and legal standards • Run and analyze MVR reports and background checks • Follow up with Operations Managers regarding missing or illegible contracting paperwork • Assist Operations with contracting issues and process questions • Enter Independent Contractor data into industry-specific software • Assign vendor numbers to new Independent Contractors and communicate assignments to Operations • Respond to Independent Contractor inquiries about driver opportunities, contracting requirements, and driver-related issues • Prepare reports and conduct analysis • Maintain Independent Contractor files, including daily filing • Serve as primary communicator between internal field operations staff and outside inquiries • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • 2–5 years of previous administrative, legal, and/or compliance-related experience required • Associate degree and/or bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred • Compliance and/or legal certificates preferred • Extremely detail oriented • Highly proficient computer skills; able to toggle between multiple screens • Ability to understand the Independent Contractor relationship • Ability to work with repetitive details and routine responsibilities • Customer service and/or personnel support experience • Ability to establish trust and credibility in the organization • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Quantitative and analytical skills • Effective verbal and written communication at all organizational levels • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software • Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally • Ability to work overtime as necessary • Preferred availability to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays
