📋 Description

• Perform accounting for various transactions of the business and ensure they are properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the financial statements • Analyze financial data and use independent judgment to identify variances, resolve accounting operating system issues when possible, compile statistical information, and develop procedures to improve current processes • Research a wide variety of financial topics to provide information or recommendations that impact the organization's operations • Prepare general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP • Conform and adhere to internal controls over accounting procedures set forth by upper management • Interface frequently with various levels within the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance Preferred • General Ledger Accounting and reconciliation experience in a corporate environment • Thorough understanding of GAAP • Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook) • Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines • Experience completing detailed accounting schedules • Ability to read and understand P&L statements • Strong computer, presentation and organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
