📋 Description

• Prepare and/or review financial statements, supporting work papers, and disclosure checklists • Ensure GAAP-compliant and accurate financial reporting • Serve as a key point of contact for the external audit • Own key quarterly and annual financial reporting controls and ensure complete evidence • Review complex, judgment-heavy areas including commissions during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close • Conduct technical accounting research on complex and non-recurring transactions • Apply GAAP and authoritative literature and draft well-documented accounting memos • Evaluate and adopt new accounting standards • Develop and maintain accounting policies • Identify emerging complexity in the close process and partner with cross-functional teams on timely resolution • Communicate accounting and equity-related issues to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Big 4 experience or similar technical accounting advisory background required • CPA certification or equivalent required • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including ASC 230, ASC 260, ASC 350, ASC 606, ASC 718, and ASC 805 • Experience researching FASB Accounting Standards Codification and Big 4 interpretive guidance • Experience supporting financial reporting controls and external audits • Strong technical, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills • Ability to lead projects collaboratively in a changing environment, work independently, and manage multiple priorities • Attention to detail and sound judgment in a complex, fast-moving environment • Experience with Workiva, NetSuite, and Xactly or similar commissions tool preferred as a bonus qualification • Proven track record of applying process automation or data analytics in technical accounting or financial reporting preferred as a bonus qualification
