📋 Description

• Design, refine, and oversee sophisticated actuarial models to evaluate risk, develop pricing strategies, and optimize profitability • Develop and assess innovative product concepts for specialized, complex, and strategically significant initiatives • Conduct advanced statistical analysis on extensive datasets • Uncover patterns, assess risk exposures, and generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making • Author comprehensive actuarial reports and recommendations • Communicate complex actuarial findings and methodologies to diverse audiences • Collaborate with underwriting, finance, product development, and claims teams • Lead or contribute as a subject matter expert in multidisciplinary projects • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency and accuracy enhancements • Represent the company on industry and professional committees • Coach staff and participate in talent selection, development, and performance management decisions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field • Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation is expected • Expert proficiency in various actuarial techniques • Mastery in actuarial practices, including industry trends and product knowledge • Expert analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and across departments • Expert consultancy on regulations, industry trends, and actuarial best practices • Technical expertise and mastery in actuarial practices • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
