📋 Description

• Plan, prepare, and provide specially designed instruction to students with IEPs in academic areas related to their IEP goals • Assess and track student progress on instructed skills • Plan learning activities aligned with individual student IEP goals • Provide one-on-one or small-group reading, writing, or math instruction based on IEP goals • Monitor and track student progress • Provide progress-monitoring data to the certified special education teacher • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special educators to implement accommodations and modifications in the general education classroom • Work under the supervision of a certified special education teacher

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • K-5 or 6-12 teaching experience in math and English Language Arts • Experience working with students with learning disabilities • 1-2 years of special education experience • Strong knowledge of research-based math and literacy instructional and intervention strategies • Highly Qualified in subject area(s) of math, reading, writing, or English Language Arts • Successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements • Ability to perform physical functions including standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching • May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately
