Founded by professionals with experience as both suppliers and wholesalers, the company focuses on leveling the playing field by helping independent alcohol brands expand retail placement (including direct store delivery) and take market share from larger competitors.

📋 Description

• Identify target accounts and build relationships with off-premises staff, retail managers, and customer sales personnel • Leverage relationships with key accounts to sell in distribution • Educate trade and consumers through direct interaction, including samplings, meetings, and trainings • Support the local team with staff training • Use Encompass, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software to track activities, results, contacts, tasks, and output • Maintain and enhance the network of points of distribution • Achieve monthly sales and placement goals in the assigned territory • Direct distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships • Perform essential duties involving standing, walking, sitting, computer work, verbal communication, and handling documents • Work in varying noise levels and warehouse temperatures as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience with a beverage supplier or distributor • Spirits background would be ideal • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Familiarity with the local market • Must have and provide a valid driver's license • Must have auto insurance that is in force • Ability and willingness to occasionally work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends • Ability to work remotely and demonstrate added value • Strong interpersonal skills to direct distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships • Must be at least 21 years old • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle documents, bend, stoop, and reach as needed • Ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and distinguish sounds at normal speaking levels, with or without correction • Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
