• Monitor and research emerging legal and regulatory developments in the fintech space, including consumer protection, payments, and financial services regulations • Summarize research findings for the legal/compliance team • Organize, maintain, and archive company policies and procedures • Ensure documents are current, accessible, and properly version-controlled • Compile and analyze data to create reports identifying legal or compliance trends • Test internal systems and workflows to verify compliance controls • Document and report compliance issues or gaps • Review marketing and advertising materials for legal and regulatory compliance • Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Support, and other teams on compliance initiatives • Assist with additional legal and compliance tasks and special projects
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Legal Studies, Political Science, Business, Finance, or a related field (J.D. candidates welcome) • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently • Interest in fintech, financial regulation, or consumer protection law is a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with document management systems a plus • Prior internship or coursework in compliance, legal research, or a related area is a plus but not required
