📋 Description

• Ensure all projects are completed safely and on time • Ensure the Georgia-Pacific PBM process is continually followed and promoted • Provide direct plant support in troubleshooting, asset strategies, project development, and execution • Work with engineering teams to ensure engineering drawings and scopes of work are complete, accurate, and constructable • Develop a customer focus for project management and construction while seeking improvements in project execution • Lead and influence different organizations to set direction for transformative work across multiple platforms • Manage multiple project assignments and execution with changing target dates as business needs dictate • Produce yearly performance evaluations for team members • Develop training to maintain a continuous learning environment responsive to Georgia-Pacific and the building products division’s needs • Lead a highly effective group of construction superintendents

🎯 Requirements

• Five (5) or more years of construction leadership experience specifically within manufacturing, relating to construction and installation of projects and equipment • Ten (10) years of demonstrated project management skills and strong analytical capabilities • Must be able and willing to work in an industrial manufacturing plant environment, including extended periods in noisy, dusty, non-air conditioned or unheated areas • Efficient use of Microsoft Office Products • Willing and able to travel as needed, depending on the project • Ideal candidate located in or open to relocating to Georgia • Fifteen (15) or more years of industrial manufacturing construction experience preferred • Experience leading managers of individual contributors and/or large departments or facilities preferred • Experience with construction projects inside operating industrial facilities preferred • Experience with large crane and rigging projects for industrial projects preferred • Experience leading improvement teams preferred
