📋 Description

• Coordinate with Datacom key account, Molex, and contract manufacturers on quality notifications, supplier quality assurance, and quality improvement • Review quality data before submitting it to customers and coordinate corrective action when required • Evaluate 8Ds provided to assigned customers in response to quality notifications • Secure customer approval on quality notifications Molex wishes to close and on change notices • Serve as the initial contact for customer or contract manufacturer quality issues • Assign customer concerns to appropriate Molex personnel and provide global expediting for assigned quality notifications • Liaise with Molex operating entities and customer locations regarding quality issues and requirements • Coordinate completion and communication of action items to meet quality targets • Schedule and conduct quality communications meetings and calls with customers, contract manufacturers, and Molex • Visit customer and Molex locations quarterly for proactive reviews and attend regional or global customer meetings • Coordinate globally on new products and change management for assigned customers • Oversee quality lab certifications, supplier quality engineer responsibilities, and quality engineering coordination across Molex entities • Coordinate lessons learned between entities • Participate in internal audit teams and product and system audits for Molex sites supplying assigned customers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field • 2+ years of experience in a Quality role • Demonstrated experience in a quality role in a multisite manufacturing environment • Previous experience managing a successful quality improvement process with multidiscipline involvement (engineering, manufacturing, sales, etc.) • Ability to travel to various customer or CM sites within the Mexico region • Knowledge of SAP • Knowledge of advanced quality tools associated with Lean Six Sigma, including DOE
