📋 Description

• Own the architecture and strategy for global cloud networking and telecom end to end • Set target-state architecture, standards, and multi-year roadmaps for the network and Genesys contact center • Drive the architecture roadmap into delivery • Design and operate cloud and hybrid networking across AWS and Azure • Implement segmentation, connectivity, DNS, traffic inspection, and zero-trust access as code and through automation • Own international telephony and telecom architecture, including global voice architecture, carrier and numbering strategy, and Genesys cloud contact center integration • Own the subscriber-of-record position per market and ensure vendor compliance answers before purchasing regulated numbering • Guide data transit, connectivity, data management, residency, security, and scale during cloud migration • Place Genesys core and media regions and design call, recording, transcript, and failover paths to meet country data-residency requirements • Use Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, Anthropic, and OpenAI to generate and validate configurations, analyze telemetry, and draft compliance documentation with human review • Own global security and compliance for network and voice • Apply least-privilege access, encryption, segmentation, and monitoring across the network and contact center • Build and lead a lean global network and telecom team • Set standards, develop team members, manage budget and vendors, and report progress and risk to leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading network and/or telecom in a global, regulated environment • Hands-on cloud networking on AWS and/or Azure • Experience with segmentation, connectivity, DNS, and zero-trust access • Experience delivering networking as code rather than click-ops • Knowledge of carrier and numbering models • Knowledge of toll-free forwarding and worldwide toll-free procurement channels • Knowledge of SIP and voice routing • Knowledge of call quality • Experience integrating or operating a global cloud contact center; Genesys preferred • Knowledge of core and media region placement, audio flows, transcripts, and records • Experience engineering data residency and country regulatory compliance across markets such as India, the UAE, Brazil, and the European Union • Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting experience • Hands-on use of Anthropic and OpenAI AI tools • Experience analyzing traffic and call-quality telemetry • Experience producing compliance evidence • Knowledge of least-privilege access, encryption, segmentation, and monitoring • Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR • Vendor and carrier management experience • Bachelor's in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience • Networking and cloud certifications a plus
