📋 Description

• Review and support the client’s data policies, processes, and standards • Identify strengths and areas for improvement and provide recommendations for current and future data architecture • Collect, transform, integrate, and analyze data to identify trends and assess performance • Develop visualizations supporting organizational and mission goals and data-driven decision-making • Develop and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates • Define data requirements and ensure electronically stored information meets client needs for storage, availability, and coherence • Develop data pipelines by collecting, transforming, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources using tools such as Palantir • Coordinate with non-technical users to gather requirements • Identify, summarize, and catalog data fidelity issues • Recommend ways to resolve or mitigate data fidelity issues • Request, document, report, and analyze data • Create tools and resources to support data and reporting where applicable • Support a global implementation of IT systems at the Department of State

🎯 Requirements

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance • Bachelor's degree • THREE (3) years’ experience in hands-on data engineering and/or database management • Experience using Palantir Foundry to clean, transform, and integrate complex datasets into production systems (e.g., Archibus) • Experience reading and cleaning data from external tables and importing it into relational database tables • Knowledge of Archibus and/or Kahua • Proficiency in querying and joining datasets using SQL • Proficiency in data wrangling and analysis using Python • Proficiency developing dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
