📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on Microsoft cloud security engagements for clients ranging from small businesses to large enterprises • Design and implement identity architecture using Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory • Implement hybrid synchronization, Conditional Access, MFA/passwordless authentication, and identity governance • Integrate applications through SSO, SAML/OIDC, enterprise app registrations, and SCIM provisioning • Investigate and remediate identity risks using Entra ID Protection, sign-in logs, and audit logs • Improve hybrid identity hygiene, including stale object cleanup, privileged account reduction, and tiered administration • Design and implement Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels, DLP, and retention policies across Microsoft 365 • Support data classification, information protection rollouts, and data security posture assessments • Support eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, communication compliance, and DSPM for AI as required • Configure Intune device compliance, configuration profiles, and application deployments • Support Defender for Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, and Cloud Apps in cloud and hybrid environments • Independently own technical delivery with an 80% billable target • Manage time and communication within assigned engagements • Partner with architects and principal consultants across varied industries and environments • Contribute to internal practice and knowledge-sharing efforts between projects • Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to GuidePoint Security Core Values

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years in IT administration, identity management, or security operations • Hands-on production experience with Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory • Experience with Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and hybrid identity using Entra Connect • Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, Kerberos, and LDAP authentication protocols • Experience implementing Microsoft Purview, including sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, or eDiscovery • Experience supporting Intune and Defender XDR • Basic PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting, such as Microsoft Graph PowerShell • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail • Clear written and verbal communication • Willingness to embrace emerging technologies, including AI tools • Bachelor’s degree preferred (optional, not required)
