📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for new clients during onboarding • Develop and execute tailored onboarding plans aligned with client needs and business goals • Guide clients through setup on accounting, payroll, and virtual platforms • Assist with state ID registrations and compliance requirements • Review and optimize historical bookkeeping, payroll records, tax filings, and financial statements • Identify and address discrepancies by preparing adjustments, amendments, or corrective filings • Communicate proactively via email, text, and phone to gather documents and ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks • Partner with sales and account management teams to ensure a smooth handoff to ongoing services • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance standards and readiness for recurring services • Document and share onboarding trends and client needs to refine processes and improve client experience • Serve as a trusted advisor and identify opportunities to maximize client workflows and ensure compliance with financial and payroll regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Minimum 5 years of related work experience • 1 year of client onboarding experience • Ability to anticipate customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services • Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities • Knowledge or familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining sharp attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work remotely with clients across the country • Preferred: account management experience • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Preferred: bilingual skills • Preferred: experience with CRM, Xero, Small Business Service, and Client Service
