• Function as TEG product line Clinical Advisor to customers • Drive utilization and expansion of the TEG product line at existing customer sites within the defined territory • Support account-management sales processes through clinical education and ongoing case support • Manage the territory’s existing TEG customer base • Increase product usage, expand customer bases, and generate revenue growth through clinical education • Train new and existing customers on all product and clinical aspects of the TEG line • Ensure customers can safely and efficiently operate TEG equipment, software, and disposables and interpret TEG results • Provide onsite support, training, grand rounds presentations, case support, market development events, and after-hours support as needed • Visit assigned hospital accounts, identify and train clinical champions, and establish relationships with key decision makers • Resolve technical, operational, and clinical customer concerns by investigating and partnering with cross-functional teams • Maintain customer and territory records in the CRM tool • Support VAD/ECMO, Trauma, CV, High Risk Obstetrics, Liver transplant, Vascular, and Critical Care clinicians • Understand the competitive landscape and convert existing accounts to TEG business • Work with the Account Manager on account expansion, revenue forecasting, quarterly planning, and monthly management calls • Provide regional and national tradeshow support • Drive demand for device, software, and add-on device upgrades • Support laboratory installation, validation, verification, training, competency, SOP, IQCP development, donor sourcing, logistics, ordering, and interfacing needs • Prospect and develop multi-level relationships, including C-level relationships, within the territory • Participate in product development, market-needs, quality-investigative, and product-launch activities while providing feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D
• Bachelor of Arts or Science required • Master of Arts or Science or Business Administration preferred • 3+ years of industry or clinically related experience • Preferably experience with complex medical devices and/or critical care environments • Knowledge of hemostasis management required • Strong technical and clinical aptitude • Ability to train customers and users on TEG products • Ability to operate the TEG Analyzer, understand application of results, and manipulate the software • Residence in the Los Angeles, CA area required • Ability to perform daily travel and 5% overnight travel
