📋 Description

• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns for product lines to optimize sales for front-list and backlist Bible projects and product lines • Oversee online and offline marketing and publicity, including brand positioning and messaging, metadata and keyword development, media planning and buying, email, social media, live events, partnerships, retail marketing, and content marketing • Manage additional marketing staff, including performance appraisals and coaching • Secure and lead external marketing partners and vendors • Analyze marketing campaigns and recommend adjustments and key learnings based on results • Provide metadata and keywords for new releases and update backlist metadata as needed • Collaborate with product development on creative direction, packaging, brand messaging, and product modifications • Present marketing plans and updates to sales teams, internal stakeholders, authors/proprietors, retail, and marketing partners • Manage budget development and expense projections • Attend relevant trade shows and conferences as required • Assist with other marketing-related activities as assigned • Manage and optimize brands, products, and translation lines • Liaise between marketing and sales • Monitor ROI and contribute to overall marketing team initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of highly complex marketing and/or sales experience • 4+ years of people management experience • Experience leading a business unit or function of an organization • Experience managing and executing product launches and integrated campaigns using digital and traditional marketing channels • Hands-on experience with email, social media, and digital advertising strategy and execution • Experience using marketing management tools and digital analytics tools • Experience managing and leading outside vendors • Experience analyzing marketing results/ROI • Understanding of the Spanish-speaking Christian market in the U.S. and Latin America, including theological viewpoints and/or denominational differences • Understanding of Biblical doctrine • Bachelor’s degree in Bible Theology/Studies or Christian Ministry preferred; marketing, business or related degrees considered • Understanding of the Christian Bible market and Bible translations • Knowledge of publishing or other consumer content-related industry preferred • Strong analytical and metrics-based decision-making experience • Significant familiarity with the organization and content of the Bible • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues and vendors • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail • Exceptional written and verbal Spanish communication skills • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines • Skill to set priorities and problem solve • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office • Fully bilingual; able to read, write, and present in Spanish and English
