📋 Description

• Support Harris's M&A process and investment strategy • Qualify M&A prospects using investment criteria for rigorous screening • Manage, monitor, and maintain data quality for the M&A prospect watch-list in the CRM • Create reports and dashboards • Perform primary research on owner-operated businesses, private equity portfolio companies, and potential multinational corporation carve-outs • Conduct market-sizing, industry trend, and competitor analysis • Research software M&A advisors, brokers, and investment banks • Identify and analyze third-party data sources, including industry tradeshows and conferences • Prepare and report statistics and KPIs related to the M&A pipeline • Support senior M&A and Corporate Development leaders with ad hoc analysis and special projects • Travel as needed, approximately 10%

🎯 Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, software, or data analysis • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics (BBA/ BCom etc.) preferred • Self-motivated individual with an ability to perform independently in a fast-paced environment • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines • Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, and analytical ability • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • Leverages AI for research and analysis • High degree of professionalism and integrity • Ability to work remotely in the U.S. or Canada • Current, valid passport • Legally eligible to travel between USA and Canada • Passport-based visa exemption or required travel visas for entry into Canada and the United States • Preference given to candidates who can work in EST timezone
