📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for federal prospects and customers • Design, document, and defend secure, compliant Harvey architectures in government environments • Address FedRAMP High, identity and access patterns, integrations, CUI, records retention, and auditability requirements • Own the technical thread for high-impact federal accounts from initial conversation through rollout, adoption, and expansion • Partner with Security & Trust on agency security reviews and translate compliance requirements for program owners and counsel • Work with Legal Engineers and Customer Success Managers to turn agency workflows and legal or policy use cases into solutions, reusable patterns, and implementation playbooks • Synthesize field feedback to inform product roadmap, evaluation criteria, deployment options, and government-specific documentation • Represent Harvey in public-sector forums, customer workshops, working groups, and stakeholder briefings • Build the public-sector Solutions Architecture playbook for qualification, security review, deployment patterns, and enablement

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role • Direct experience selling to or supporting U.S. federal customers, including navigating agency security reviews and procurement • Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, DoD Impact Levels, and ATO processes • Hands-on depth in SaaS security and identity architecture, including SSO/SAML, SCIM, encryption and key management, data residency, and audit logging • Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences • Hands-on engagement with modern AI systems, including LLMs, prompt design, evaluation, and deployment patterns • Comfort operating in an emerging practice area • Prior government service or military experience preferred • Experience with Azure Government or other government cloud environments preferred • Experience selling through federal systems integrators or contract vehicles preferred • Background in legal, e-discovery, or other document-heavy enterprise workflows preferred • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must be able to work within the Washington, DC area and travel approximately 25–40% to agency and partner sites
