• Support the development, implementation, and expansion of H-CAP’s Registered Apprenticeship Program within the healthcare industry • Collaborate with employers, education partners, labor-management organizations, unions, and other stakeholders • Lead outreach and engagement efforts for Registered Apprenticeship opportunities • Support partners developing and implementing Registered Apprenticeship programs • Coordinate webinars, forums, career fairs, trainings, and other educational activities • Develop and implement outreach and recruitment strategies • Conduct informational sessions for varied stakeholder audiences • Create materials supporting Registered Apprenticeship outreach • Work with the Data and Communications team on promotional and marketing efforts • Develop, maintain, and submit outreach plans • Track deliverables for grant and contract compliance • Enter data into tracking systems and write progress reports • Build multi-employer apprenticeship programs across multiple states and occupations • Support the SEIU/AFSCME National Center for Healthcare Apprenticeships • Monitor healthcare workforce development and training trends • Develop and implement programs supporting board members and the H-CAP Education Association • Work with labor-management program staff and leadership • Perform other related duties as assigned
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience • Excellent project coordination and organizational skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and workforce development • Knowledge of Registered Apprenticeship and the Registered Apprenticeship System • Experience developing workforce development programs with large and small healthcare employers • Experience with post-secondary education and adult education programs • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Ability and comfort presenting to varied audiences using virtual and in-person formats • Work experience or familiarity with union or labor-management environments • Existing connections with healthcare employers, industry associations, unions, labor-management organizations, workforce boards, and education partners • Experience with grant writing and grant reporting • Experience with database systems and ability to learn new systems quickly • Availability during normal business hours, such as 9:00am to 5:00pm, in the employee’s time zone • Suitable home workplace with sufficient space and minimal disruptions • Minimum internet speed of 25MB download and 10MB upload • H-CAP must be the employee’s sole employer; other employment is strictly prohibited
