📋 Description

• Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge • Create specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and available data elements • Provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams addressing business issues • Produce datasets and reports using system reporting tools • Research and analyze financial and health data, including medical algorithms, healthcare expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost-containment strategies • Analyze complex business problems using internal and external data to provide insight to decision-makers • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets • Provide analytic support and consultancy for HCSC’s largest Commercial clients and internal senior-leader stakeholders • Support clinical and business stakeholders and provide advisory services to internal senior leaders • Leverage SQL, R, Python, Tableau, and healthcare industry knowledge in client-facing and internal engagements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field • Understanding and high proficiency in querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to obtain meaningful insights • Proficiency in SQL, R, and Python • Ability to create dynamic and visually engaging dashboards using Tableau or Power BI • High degree of business intelligence and ability to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders • Preferred: Experience with project management methodologies • Preferred: Healthcare industry experience, including payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, or epidemiology • Preferred: Experience with version control/collaborative tools such as GitHub • Preferred: Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx
