📋 Description

• Perform activities associated with administration and management of pharmacy programs • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining a disease state formulary system • Support utilization management programs • Support specialty pharmacy management and medication therapy management • Manage client relationships and provide client support • Develop innovative clinical programs • Perform daily clinical pharmacy activities within the Medicare program • Support development and execution of initiatives improving drug therapy quality and cost-effectiveness • Coordinate with ambulatory care providers and clinical teams • Provide support to assigned provider groups through limited regional travel • Travel up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist in the United States • Experience using window based word processing, spreadsheet and relational database software • Drug information skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of practice guidelines or practice parameters • Knowledge of pharmacoeconomics • Knowledge of quality improvement processes and techniques • Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles • Ability to remain at a work station and perform computer entry for long periods of time • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage communications professionally • Additional certifications and residency experience preferred • Managed care and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience preferred • MTM experience, specialty pharmacy, or government programs knowledge preferred • PharmD or bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with advanced clinical experience preferred • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of residence required • Experience working with Medicare Stars, MTM, or population-health pharmacy programs preferred • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and pharmacy claims systems preferred • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially Medicare, preferred • Ability to travel up to 250 miles to support provider groups • Willingness to work in the Central Standard Time Zone • Strong presentation and communication skills • Must reside in New Mexico • Sponsorship is not available
