📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage database assets in cloud environments • Leverage enterprise automations and monitoring tools • Customize cloud systems for performance, maintenance, and security requirements • Set up automation for infrastructure-as-code provisioning of Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and related PaaS databases • Set up standards for automation • Establish best practices for PaaS database automation • Work with database Subject Matter Experts to establish database automation standards and provision environments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree and 6 years in Information Technology, or Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 years of Information Technology experience, or 9 years of Information Technology experience • Experience with Azure SQL databases and Azure SQL Managed Instances • Automation experience with Ansible and Harness • Experience with As a Service technologies • Experience with Cloud Orchestration and Management technologies • Experience with Monitoring and Event Management technologies • Experience with Automation technologies • Operations Management experience • Experience with ITIL v3 • Experience with IT standards, procedures, and policies • Understanding of business priorities, industry trends, and markets • Sponsorship is not available, including for candidates currently on OPT • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degrees • Preferred development experience in C#, Java, Python, or another language • Preferred experience with Azure networking and security
