📋 Description

• Ensure project-specific designs align with the application architecture roadmap • Support project and/or product teams on functional and technical design activities • Define interactions between application packages, databases, and middleware systems to optimize product functional coverage • Act as subject matter expert for products requiring integration into the application • Administer and support Hadoop-related application architecture and ecosystem components

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree and 5 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 years Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience • Experience in application and/or product feature design • Experience in application configuration • Experience with application development platforms and/or languages including HTML/CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHCSC, Ruby, and C# • Experience in cloud computing, including SaaS/PaaS • Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment/integration processes and tools including Bamboo, Jenkins, RallyDev, and Jira • Experience in integration technologies including Tibco, Informatica, and CAS • Experience in iterative, agile, and/or scrum development • Experience in solution architecture • Application domain knowledge • Prototyping experience • Problem-solving and analytical thinking • Teamwork and collaboration • Sponsorship is not available, including for candidates currently on OPT • Preferred: Linux/Unix proficiency, including command-line operations, file systems, process management, and Bash/Perl shell scripting • Preferred: Hadoop architecture knowledge, including HDFS, YARN, and MapReduce • Preferred: Cluster management and monitoring tools such as Apache Ambari, Nagios, Ganglia, or Cloudera Manager • Preferred: Hadoop ecosystem tools including Hive, HBase, Spark, and Sqoop • Preferred: Cluster coordination/job-flow tools including ZooKeeper or Oozie • Preferred: Networking and hardware fundamentals for distributed node environments • Preferred: Configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible; Kerberos security/authentication • Preferred: Java, Python, or Scala proficiency • Preferred: Apache Spark knowledge
