📋 Description

• Partner closely with Engineering and Product to ensure delivery of a high-quality cloud-based SaaS platform • Own manual and automated testing • Validate new features • Identify and troubleshoot product issues • Align testing with the product roadmap • Investigate complex product questions • Provide feedback to improve product quality and user experience • Perform manual and automated end-to-end testing • Test web-based and mobile applications, including integration, functional, regression, mobile device, interface, and compatibility testing • Write test cases based on specifications • Log detailed bugs, clarify requirements, validate test plans, and provide release status updates • Maintain the regression test checklist and create new test cases and scenarios • Write detailed reproduction steps in issue tracking systems • Classify issues by urgency and severity • Estimate testing effort across multiple feature sets • Troubleshoot and remediate issues with development and product teams • Deploy feature sets to test environments • Write automated testing scripts and maintain them through source control • Support production releases • On-board and off-board employees in systems • Provide technical support for endpoint devices • Support customer success

🎯 Requirements

• Proven ability to work with cloud-based infrastructure: AWS, Heroku, Lambda • Exposure to automated testing harness and scripting • Ability to adapt to highly agile development methodologies • Working knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices • Familiarity with mobile testing and mobile test techniques • Strong knowledge of bug-writing, regression, and test case creation • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Well-developed problem-solving skills • Independent learning traits and ability to seek information and knowledge • Mastery of exploratory, negative, boundary, end-to-end, connectivity, and data integrity testing techniques • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer • HDVI will not sponsor candidates for employment visa status • Javascript (node.js) • Automated testing platform • BrowserStack or equivalent • MacOS experience
