📋 Description

• Own how Headway’s clinical organization runs • Run clinical governance committee operations, including charters, membership, meeting cadence, agendas, pre-reads, minutes, decision logs, and action items • Own the clinical team’s operating rhythm, including staff meetings, planning sessions, offsites, cross-functional forums, and internal communication • Drive the clinical organization’s OKR cycle end to end, including drafting, calibration, alignment, baseline and target setting, resourcing coordination, check-ins, scoring, retrospectives, and maintaining the source of truth • Own the clinical policy lifecycle, including intake, drafting and revision, review and approval routing, version control, effective dates, re-review, enablement, distribution, attestation, and training handoffs • Oversee execution of clinical programs under clinical leadership’s direction, including plans, milestones, dependencies, owners, status reporting, escalation, coordination, metrics, and outcomes • Systematize clinical risk register entries within Headway’s enterprise risk register, including intake, triage, scoring, documentation, audits, risk ownership, mitigations, and reporting • Act as the primary administrative interface between the clinical team and Compliance, Operations, Legal, Product, Growth, and other departments • Lead through ownership and influence as a senior individual contributor • Build governance infrastructure that scales with Headway’s network, service lines, and regulatory surface area • Partner with a Senior Clinical Strategy Associate on committee and cadence operations

🎯 Requirements

• Active clinical license as a master’s level therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), doctorate level clinical psychologist (PhD/PsyD), or other psychiatric clinician (PMHNP-BC, MD/DO) • 7+ years of experience in mental health settings • Comfort with ambiguity and a builder's instinct • Ability to build durable systems from scratch and manage complexity without dropping details • Experience with clinical governance and policy work • Experience supporting committees, moving policies or protocols through review and approval, or contributing to risk, accreditation, or audit processes in a clinical or healthcare setting • Track record of operational excellence and holding programs to a standard and timeline without formal authority • Experience managing concurrent initiatives • Data-informed approach, including setting baselines and targets, partnering with data teams, and reporting progress in numbers • Collaboration skills without formal authority • Motivation to improve access to affordable, high-quality mental healthcare • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer • Must disclose whether visa sponsorship is required
