📋 Description

• Provide services that maintain, strengthen, and safeguard clients in their home environment • Support client independence according to the specified plan of care • Aid with activities of daily living • Assist with shopping, errands, transportation, prescription pickup, and telehealth visits • Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation • Provide companionship and build lasting client relationships • Escort clients • Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, and feeding • Follow the plan of care • Communicate professionally with families and the care team • Travel within a 60-mile radius • Help maintain safe environments and optimal living conditions for clients

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduate/GED preferred (optional) • Six months of experience working as a Personal Attendant and/or active CNA • Must be competent to provide personal assistance services, demonstrated by experience or testing • Strong interpersonal skills, compassionate attitude, patience, empathy, and integrity • Reliable transportation required • Must maintain a valid and current driver's license • Must maintain valid and current auto liability insurance • Ability to lift, transfer, and support clients who may be overweight or disabled • Ability to move about in the home and stand for prolonged periods • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients • Ability to work under stressful conditions and meet deadlines • Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously • Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone • Ability to hear and receive verbal instructions correctly • Ability to concentrate on fine detail with frequent interruption • Ability to understand and remember verbal and written tasks and assignments • Excellent computer software skills • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, or similar software required • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, exercise professional judgment, and maintain confidentiality • Ability to work independently and with others while maintaining a courteous and positive attitude
