📋 Description

• Lead and implement data management strategies and practices • Perform data integration, acquisition/ingestion, cleansing/refinements, transformations/conversions, migrations, purging, and back-ups • Work with users and stakeholders to understand data requirements • Support data architecture and translate it into data management practices at Healthfirst • Author artifacts defining standards and definitions for storing, processing, and moving data, including processes and business rules • Map artifacts to business processes, non-functional characteristics, qualitative criteria, and technical enablement • Identify trends in datasets and develop workflows and algorithms to highlight strategic raw data for the enterprise • Create data acquisition strategies and develop robust dataset processes according to standardization best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years overall IT experience • Enterprise experience with scripting languages, primarily Python and PySpark, building enterprise frameworks • Enterprise experience with data ingestion methodologies using ETL tools such as Glue and DBT • Enterprise experience with data warehousing concepts and big data technologies such as EMR and Hadoop • Enterprise experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Strong SQL expertise across relational and NoSQL databases • Strong knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance standards • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a data engineering environment • Experience building APIs • Experience building stream platforms
