📋 Description

• Serve as the analytics point of contact for one Brightline business unit and support its stakeholders and business activities • Partner with data leadership and analytics portfolio owners to mature the portfolio’s analytics stack • Surface technical debt and coordinate scoping, prioritization, and trade-offs • Advise stakeholders on data and analytics • Define portfolio metrics and operational KPI levers • Assess engineering-change impacts on data and metrics quality • Execute data governance and maintain HIPAA compliance • Create technical tracking requirements with Engineering and Marketing Operations • Design and develop analytics-layer architecture using dbt and Claude Code • Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements using frameworks such as UML • Maintain data design standards and review pull requests • Maintain the dbt Semantic Layer as the source of truth for metric definitions • Troubleshoot development and coding issues • Develop documentation that enables AI agents to answer analytics questions • Identify business issues and propose data-driven solutions • Present insights and recommendations using data storytelling • Develop effective data visualizations • Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards • Answer ad hoc questions and produce reports using custom SQL • Support data engineering with data-pipeline feature requirements • Stay current on AI technologies in healthcare, technology, and data analytics • Collaborate with portfolio stakeholders and influence business strategy • Support and lead other assigned responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, computer science, or business analytics, or equivalent practical experience • 7 to 10 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or highly analytical roles • Healthcare industry experience or experience in a lead or senior analytics role involving analytics platforms, analytics strategy, or data governance • Ability to resolve complex defined problems through creative problem solving • Ability to anticipate and surface business needs • Proven data communication and storytelling skills • Expert-level SQL proficiency • Proficiency with modern business intelligence platforms such as Tableau • Familiarity with data architecture principles and UML or similar technical communication frameworks • Ability to write technical documentation accessible to non-technical stakeholders • Willingness to learn and use new AI tools • Familiarity with web analytics and digital marketing measurement • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance as it affects data analytics and data sharing • Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling preferred • Experience with business forecasting, GitHub, dbt Cloud, Agile, Python, Jira, and Confluence preferred • Must be located in the United States and continue permanent residency in the United States • Brightline is unable to sponsor visas
