📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales technical and functional support for complex products, applications, and solutions • Design solutions and engage prospective clients throughout the sales process • Provide selective post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction • Present and articulate HPE Networking solutions against competitors • Work with HPE Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and convert leads • Support opportunity pipelines and drive engagements through closure • Develop innovative, tailored solutions for clients and prospects • Gather client data to tailor solutions and determine appropriate delivery approaches • Manage account and partner responsibilities in the assigned territory • Recommend hardware, software, and services for complex customer needs • Participate in bids, proposals, and solution presentations • Provide technical, product, technology, and sales support • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations • Manage vendor partners and support demand-generation events • Maintain account relationships, sales pipelines, and forecasts • Provide consultative support to internal and external stakeholders • Assist sales staff in assessing product applications • Prepare product and implementation specifications when needed • Create designs and implementation specifications for complex solutions • Build proofs of concept and rapid prototypes to demonstrate feasibility • Consult prospective users and validate product capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree; or significant experience in networking, technical, and pre-sales activities roles • In-depth knowledge of L2/L3 networking, routing, WLAN, LAN, and WAN • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder at time of hire • Career-level oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills • Customer-focused ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues • Ability to interface with senior levels of internal and external organizations • Ability to mentor junior Systems Engineers • Industry expert-level Aruba certifications strongly recommended • Juniper expert-level certifications preferred • Expertise in WLAN, switching, NAC/AAA, and full-stack networking (Layer 1–7) • Executive-level presentation skills and strategic relationship development
