📋 Description

• Understand the customer’s organizational structure and network implementation, support processes, and procedures • Conduct network information-gathering workshops to understand existing network designs and requirements for new designs • Test new tools, features, functionality, patches, and fixes in laboratory and pre-production environments • Develop implementation and verification plans for live network deployment • Conduct technology workshops covering equipment and network problems, case status, workarounds, and solutions • Support design and planning of Juniper MX, PTX, QFX, EX series, and associated solutions • Define best-practice policies for Juniper product applications • Peer with other Resident Engineers to share lessons learned and reduce risks during network upgrades or changes • Develop secondary skills in other Juniper product portfolio offerings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent • Typically 7+ years experience • JUNOS CLI experience across MX, QFX, EX series • Understanding of BGP and route reflector topologies • Experience using and evaluating engineering design tools and software packages • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience conducting reviews of material specifications and hardware, software, and electrical component design • Experience evaluating empirical analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Mastery in English and local language • Ability to communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at senior management levels
