📋 Description

• Guide customers through cloud adoption and provide technical and strategic guidance • Consult, plan, design, and implement cloud-native application solutions • Review full-stack architectures and propose iterative cloud-native modernization approaches • Code, test, and deploy refinements in customer applications • Build and deploy infrastructure and automate customer operations • Develop technical content including automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers • Translate customer needs and feedback into technology roadmaps and enhanced offerings • Assist with technical briefs and reference architecture implementations • Support thought leadership through blog posts and internal case studies • Conduct architectural reviews and identify applications suitable for migration to AWS cloud-native services • Help decompose monolithic applications into decoupled implementations using DevOps practices • Deliver application code and configuration changes and implement automated testing • Define and review customer DevOps framework capabilities and architecture • Provide AWS best practices and help define and implement an MVP DevOps framework • Deploy ASP.NET web applications and Amazon EC2 instances • Deploy Python and Java applications on AWS Lambda • Implement blue/green deployments on Amazon ECS • Provision deployment-monitoring dashboards • Identify follow-on activities and provide knowledge transfer to customer stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience architecting or operating full-stack business, consumer, or corporate web and mobile applications on AWS • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure DevOps/TFS, EC2, Lambda, S3, AWS networking, .NET, IIS, MS SQL Server, Java, Apache Tomcat, SNS, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch • Experience with software/technology architecture • Customer-facing experience • Experience with Java, C++, or C# • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future • Technical knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Node.js, ReactJS, Angular, Vue, Ruby, SQL, SOAP, REST, and GraphQL • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Vault, Git, Subversion, Docker, Kubernetes, DataDog, Apache, NGINX, and IIS • Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server • Knowledge of AWS services including CloudFormation, AWS CLI, AWS CDK, S3, EBS, EC2, ECS, EKS, ECR, Lambda, Batch, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, VPC, Route53, API Gateway, CloudFront, App Mesh, Global Accelerator, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, X-Ray, CloudWatch, IAM, Key Management Service, Secrets Manager, Cognito, Certificate Manager, WAF & Shield, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Simple Workflow, EventBridge, AppFlow, Amplify, AppSync, Device Farm, Amazon Location Service, and SAM
