📋 Description

• Own the technical delivery of AI deployments • Work closely with Deployment Strategists and customers to build production systems for healthcare operations • Identify customer challenges and design AI solutions using RAG, tool calling, LLM-as-judge, and other advanced LLM techniques • Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation pipelines grounded in customer data • Implement tool-calling architectures and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections to customer systems • Build production Python code using LangChain, LangSmith, and modern AI frameworks • Set up secure, monitored production environments and manage deployment and go-live activities • Monitor deployed systems, respond to incidents, troubleshoot customer problems, and implement fixes • Build reliable integrations with EHRs, data warehouses, operational tools, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems • Explain AI system architecture to customers, debug issues collaboratively, and improve operational reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience with strong Python fundamentals and production software development experience • Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks including LangChain and LangSmith • Deep understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, LLM-as-judge, and related LLM development patterns • Experience building integrations with APIs, databases, or enterprise systems • Comfort with asynchronous patterns and error handling • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-ranked university • Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-integration approaches • Healthcare IT experience, including EHR integrations, FHIR, HL7, or healthcare data standards • Production DevOps or infrastructure experience, including monitoring and incident response • Experience deploying AI systems or working with LLMs in production • Ability to travel 25% of the time to customer sites • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Recruitment communications must come from @hippocraticai.com email addresses; the company will never request payment or sensitive personal information during hiring
