📋 Description

• Teach, coach, and train associates on Asset Protection initiatives, theft/fraud mitigation, operational shrink, safety, and environmental compliance • Drive execution of Merchandise Protection Standards, Pick Ticket, Lockup, Front End Accuracy, G.E.T., safety, and post-order programs • Partner with DHRM, District Manager, store managers, store leadership, Asset Protection Specialists, government relations, and law enforcement • De-escalate serious incidents and threats of violence • Conduct parking-lot safety walks and support safety strategies • Enter, review, approve, and reject internal and external theft cases in case-management systems • Review alerts, activity cans, physical security, exception-based reporting, theft portal, and AP Performance Hub • Identify theft trends by class and SKU and create mitigation solutions • Conduct timely interviews for internal theft cases • Review and analyze district and store-level shrink performance and manage the Company's shrink reduction strategy • Make hiring decisions and take disciplinary action, including termination, with HR resources • Staff and schedule Asset Protection associates based on business needs, theft trends, and store tips • Develop AP associates, conduct performance reviews, and participate in talent reviews • Coach associates on safety behaviors, hazardous-materials handling, environmental/regulatory processes, and Store Readiness Checklist execution

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Associate's degree or equivalent degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience • Minimum 3 years of work experience • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience • 3+ years of multi-unit retail Asset Protection experience • Experience leading a team focused on external and internal theft • Experience conducting internal investigations, including interviews • Experience with Organized Retail Crime elements and law enforcement partnerships • Experience utilizing/managing physical security and investigations systems, including CCTV, Alarm, and Exception Based Reporting • LPC/LPQ Certification • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule and support multiple store locations • Licensure/certification requirements may vary by location
