📋 Description

• Administer a high volume weekly payroll process utilizing a computer-based system • Collect, analyze, update, and reconcile payroll and benefit data on a weekly basis • Serve as liaison between users, vendors, and IT to research and resolve issues • Create and implement auditing tools to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local authorities and eliminate erroneous payments • Contribute to SOX audit compliance • Frequently review error logs and transactions to ensure the system is running as required • Process payroll and related reporting for Home Depot associates in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Guam • Report to the Sr. HR Services Business Analyst • No direct responsibility for supervising others

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job • Minimum 3 years of work experience • At least 3 years recent experience administering a complete high volume multi-state payroll process for a large company • Extensive experience in gross-to-net payroll, state and federal pay rule calculations and payroll regulations • Familiarity with Payroll System • Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and standards • Strong analytical skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Detailed oriented and strong follow up skills • CPP is preferred • Canada Payroll and Pay Rule processing is preferred • Expatriate and Foreign National payroll processing is preferred
