📋 Description

• Assist in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software • Help design products for Home Depot customers and associates • Participate in product configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring • Follow organizational best practices and participate in improvement conversations • Learn through successful and failed experiments when tackling new problems • Seek growth and challenges through formal and informal development channels • Build partnerships and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives • Collaborate with team members in agile processes • Report to a Software Engineer Manager or Senior Manager • Maintain no direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a field related to the job • Minimum 1 year of work experience • Experience developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot • Familiarity with AI/ML tools, APIs, and generative AI platforms • Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design principles • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native development practices • Working knowledge of Kubernetes • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices • Familiarity with Git-based source code management • Experience using Jira for Agile project management • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization • Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Understanding of software development best practices, testing, code reviews, and secure coding principles • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with enterprise applications
