📋 Description

• Represent Horace Mann’s auto, home, life, supplemental, and retirement products, primarily auto and home solutions • Deliver compliant educational seminars to teachers • Tailor seminar content for clarity, relevance, and industry alignment • Generate leads through seminars and quote/bind on-site or direct leads to the internal sales team • Guide educators through the enrollment process and answer questions • Coordinate seminar schedules and logistics with school staff • Maintain required licenses and stay current on products, compliance, and industry trends • Build and maintain relationships with teachers before, during, and after seminars • Follow up with educators to encourage engagement and trust • Collaborate with internal teams to improve seminar content and sales strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience • 5+ years of experience in sales, consulting, or customer-facing roles • Experience in educational settings preferred • Property & Casualty license required • Life & Health license may be required later as business needs change • FINRA Series 6 & 63 may be required later as business needs change • Strong product knowledge and ability to explain complex benefits • Proven sales ability, including guiding customers through enrollment • Seminar presentation and event coordination skills • Organizational, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to assess seminar performance, interpret feedback, and refine strategies • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% • Travel within an assigned geography across multiple states is required
