📋 Description

• Develop strong knowledge of Horace Mann Life and Retirement insurance products, services, and policies • Handle and problem-solve customers’ inquiries via phone, email, and chats • Ensure a great customer experience through written and verbal communications • Maintain quality and compliance in every interaction by adhering to applicable company and state rules and regulations • Proactively up-sell and cross-sell insurance solutions to the existing customer base • Support educators with inquiries about life and retirement insurance policies

🎯 Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED required • Successfully complete the Service Representative Trainee Program • Obtain and maintain a Life license and/or 6/63 license within 12 months of hire and maintain it thereafter; the company will provide training and support if needed • Basic math skills and billing interpretation skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to identify unmet customer needs and provide solutions • Active listening, system navigation, research, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, and time management skills • Internet speed of at least 10 mb/s download and 1 mb/s upload; verification required • Private, organized work location free from daily household distractions • Ability to work any shift between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. CST, Monday-Friday, plus Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST • 2+ years of customer service/business/sales experience preferred • Insurance or finance industry experience helpful
