📋 Description

• Build reasoning systems that map proven attack paths and exploitation telemetry to applicable control changes • Rank control changes by effectiveness and operational blast radius • Turn pentest data into training and evaluation data • Extract why attacks succeeded or failed across environments • Design and run counterfactual experiments in representative test environments • Design reasoning layers across heterogeneous vendor control planes and APIs • Design safety architecture for autonomous changes, including simulation, blast-radius classification, approval gates, staged rollout, rollback, and audit trails • Work with attack and detection engineers to define agent behavior and diagnose failure modes • Own problems end to end in a 0→1 environment

🎯 Requirements

• Strong ML engineering experience building, evaluating, and deploying production AI systems • Hands-on experience in deep learning, transformer models, and PyTorch • Hands-on experience with post-training large language models or agentic systems with tool use, planning, and long-horizon execution • Track record of building evaluation systems for open-ended tasks judged by outcomes • Experience reasoning over configurations, graphs, logs, and policy documents • Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production-quality Python code • Experience with data pipelines, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS • Ability to work across model behavior, APIs, and infrastructure • Ability to independently research unfamiliar systems • Strong written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills • Master's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 4+ years of professional engineering experience • Interest in how attackers and defenders operate and willingness to learn the domain
