📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of Fraud Analysts, setting investigation standards, documentation quality, and performance expectations • Establish fraud classification and labeling infrastructure, including taxonomy, standardized case documentation, and accurate fraud-type tracking • Build and maintain investigation playbooks and SOPs for card fraud, application fraud, Early Fraud Warning alerts, and coordinated fraud rings • Design fraud detection controls with Product and Engineering, including application-stage signals and post-approval monitoring • Own weekly fraud intelligence reporting to the Director, Risk and CFO, covering pattern observations, P&L impact, and recommended policy actions • Partner with Legal/Compliance on coordinated fraud-event escalation and regulatory documentation • Coordinate with Credit Underwriting on application fraud signals and Member Support on high-severity card fraud cases • Build the foundational fraud leadership function as Engine scales

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience • Card fraud operations experience — credit, prepaid, or gift card (not just ACH or marketplace fraud) • People leadership — managing investigators or analysts • SEON or equivalent fraud detection platform • Salesforce case management • BSA/AML familiarity • Familiarity with KYB outputs and how to read them for fraud signals • Strong written communication — ability to escalate fraud patterns to leadership with clarity and impact • CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) strongly preferred • CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) a plus • Fintech, travel, or multi-product marketplace experience a plus
