📋 Description

• Own automation systems and QA work from project kickoff through release, maintenance, and improvement • Write unit, component, API, and browser tests, selecting the appropriate testing layer for each risk • Build repeatable fixtures and isolated test data to verify workflow behavior and data integrity • Partner with developers and product managers on testability, acceptance criteria, and shared testing practices • Diagnose CI failures, improve unreliable tests, and report coverage, failures, and remaining risk • Use AI-assisted development while independently validating generated code and assertions • Monitor system health and turn production issues into regression coverage • Periodically work with support to triage client-facing production issues

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated senior-level ownership of test automation or software engineering work • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React applications • Experience with Jest, Playwright, or comparable modern test frameworks • Able to use SQL to investigate data issues and verify persisted behavior in PostgreSQL or a similar database • Demonstrated AI-assisted development experience and a clear approach to verifying generated work • Experience diagnosing CI and production issues using logs and tools such as Sentry or Grafana • Initiative and clear communication across teams
