📋 Description

• Translate business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps • Align business vision, technology strategy, and enterprise standards • Deliver critical business outcomes and create technology strategies leveraging IT • Mentor and guide enterprise, solution, technology, and system architects across Humana • Advocate for the business within IT and align technology execution with business strategy • Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives with application teams and business and IT stakeholders • Mentor pattern-based development with a focus on resource and cost optimization • Drive adoption of lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework • Map business vision and strategy to value streams, business capabilities, and business functions • Document current-state architecture, value streams, and domain capability models • Apply portfolio rationalization to identify innovation opportunities and reduce risk, complexity, and total operating cost • Define and maintain technology strategies, including intermediate and end-state architectures • Lead application modernization initiatives, including rearchitecting legacy mainframe, standalone, and web-based applications • Enable cloud everything-as-a-service, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms • Maintain and revalidate architecture standards and policies and create user-friendly documentation • Create application cost models and dashboards based on resource utilization and licensing cost • Evaluate new technologies and platforms and develop architecture standards • Select and use cloud services, technologies, tools, methodologies, and solutions aligned with organizational strategy • Mentor application teams on enterprise data-use standards and non-functional needs such as logging, auditing, and end-to-end observability • Support application teams through enterprise governance processes and provide implementation support • Report to the Director of Enterprise Architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • 10 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications • Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems • Master's Degree preferred • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Ability to travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings
