📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership across the SOC Experience surface area, including investigation and triage, remediation actions, queues, and customer-facing reporting • Lead and develop high-quality software, software designs, and architecture • Design and build analyst-facing interfaces end to end, from data model to browser • Set standards for front-end quality, including usability, performance, accessibility, and reusable patterns • Set engineering excellence standards through code review, test plan review, and hands-on pairing • Lead security-by-design reviews of designs and code • Manage the full lifecycle of systems, including evolution, configuration, and risk management • Share ownership of delivery, reliability, and uptime, with observability and test automation • Mentor engineers across the team • Balance technical rigor with pragmatism • Partner with Product, UX, and SOC stakeholders to turn operational pain points into reliable, auditable systems

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing complex software products • 5+ years of programming in Ruby on Rails • Strong front-end fundamentals: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Experience building complex interactive UIs with modern component-based frameworks • Experience with AWS or other public cloud environments • Experience with Linux-based infrastructure • Experience with relational databases such as Postgres • Experience with AI coding tools, such as Claude Code • Experience with ClickHouse (preferred) • Experience building cybersecurity products, or building/operating SOC platforms (preferred) • Experience with Hotwire, Stimulus, and Turbo (preferred)
