📋 Description

• Assist Lead Supervisors with daily support of domestic revenue cycle staff members • Work an assigned portion of the HMS account population for clients • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day questions and account escalations • Report to the Domestic Business Office leadership team • Ensure team members have enough work each day and that workloads are achievable • Support staff with questions and account escalations, answering or escalating as needed • Ensure staff appropriately communicate with payers regarding delayed or denied accounts • Assist with denial resolution, including appeals, claim corrections, and escalations • Reinforce operational changes and improvement initiatives • Assist with education and training • Foster a collaborative environment encouraging teamwork, communication, performance recognition, and attention to goals • Orient work standards around the highest standards of client service • Apply revenue cycle knowledge to identify, recommend, and execute performance improvements • Work in a professional office environment using standard office equipment • Remain seated at a desk/computer for 8 hours daily and participate in video/audio conference calls

🎯 Requirements

• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required • High school diploma or equivalent required • 3+ years of revenue cycle experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Knowledge of accounting systems and insurance issues • Knowledge of healthcare industry issues and trends • Knowledge of legal issues in field of expertise • Knowledge of required third party and governmental guidelines • Knowledge of work processing • Superior knowledge of payer guidelines and reimbursement • Experience working with both government and non-government insurance • Ability to analyze, collect, and interpret data trends • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into action • Familiarity with Epic system workflows preferred • Strong communication skills with a demonstrated track record of interpersonal relationship management
