📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders • Lead complex Workday Payroll support activities • Troubleshoot payroll issues and perform root cause analysis • Deliver configuration enhancements and sustainable solutions • Drive continuous improvement initiatives • Analyze payroll and business requirements • Produce functional specifications and support testing activities • Partner with client payroll, HR, and finance stakeholders • Support optimization, enhancements, release management, and issue resolution • Lead client-facing discussions and provide strategic guidance • Support payroll-related business processes and Workday best practices • Review work, coach consultants, and support knowledge transfer within an AMS delivery model

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of proven experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Workday Payroll, with hands-on ownership in a production or post-production (AMS) environment • Functional subject matter expertise in Workday Payroll, including payroll configuration, payroll processing, payroll calculations, tax setup, garnishments, payroll integrations, and compliance-related activities • Hands-on post-production support experience, including troubleshooting complex payroll issues, root cause analysis, and sustainable solutions in a client-facing environment • 5+ years of experience analyzing payroll and business requirements, producing functional specifications, supporting testing activities, troubleshooting production issues, and partnering with client payroll, HR, and finance stakeholders • Strong understanding of North American payroll operations, including U.S. payroll processes, tax regulations, payroll calendars, year-end activities, garnishments, and compliance requirements • Experience with optimization, enhancements, release management, and issue resolution in an AMS, PPS, or managed support model • Experience leading client-facing discussions, providing strategic guidance, and advising on payroll-related business processes and Workday best practices • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience • Active Workday Payroll Certification preferred • Experience supporting Workday Payroll in AMS, PPS, or Managed Services environments, including Tier 3 production support preferred • Experience supporting Workday Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, or Integrations preferred • Strong knowledge of Workday release management, feature adoption, and impact analysis for Payroll functionality preferred • Experience supporting medium to large-scale Workday Payroll environments with complex organizational structures, multiple pay groups, and regulatory requirements preferred • Prior team leadership or mentoring experience preferred • Consulting experience within a professional services organization supporting multiple clients simultaneously preferred • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills preferred • No travel required unless requested by the client
