📋 Description

• Ensure requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods • Translate high-level product development strategies into system requirements specifications and develop detailed implementation requirements with other engineering disciplines • Establish and coordinate standards, practices, and procedures related to product development • Design interfaces and integrate system elements • Assess system performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures • Act as a customer liaison and support business development activities to understand and shape requirements • Participate in system conceptual design and document design concepts • Participate in design reviews of hardware and software components and maintain requirements traceability through compliance verification and validation • Review test plans and procedures and participate in testing activities to validate requirements • Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct required changes • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify database identifiers • Coordinate database development as part of a project team and determine project scope and limitations • Review database project requests and estimate completion time and cost

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required • 4+ years of experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL and DB2 • Prior experience supporting Payroll applications is a plus • Experience utilizing Agile methodology • Excellent communication skills • Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship) • Able to obtain DoD Public Trust clearance • Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years; military service excluded
