📋 Description

• Process payroll end-to-end for multiple clients across weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly pay frequencies • Validate earnings, deductions, taxes, adjustments, and other payroll data • Review and balance payroll before finalization and transmission • Manage off-cycle payrolls, bonuses, and adjustments • Serve as the primary payroll contact for assigned clients • Communicate payroll timelines, requirements, and issue resolution • Provide consultative support on payroll best practices and compliance • Maintain client relationships and satisfaction • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations • Support tax filings, amendments, and quarter/year-end activities, including W-2s and 941s • Monitor payroll legislation changes • Audit payroll inputs and outputs for discrepancies • Investigate and resolve payroll errors, variances, and client inquiries • Partner with tax, benefits, and HRIS teams • Maintain payroll configurations, earnings/deductions, and employee data • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency • Document SOPs and maintain payroll processing documentation • Track time across clients, projects, and payroll cycles • Meet utilization and billable-hour targets • Support forecasting and workload balancing across the client portfolio • Model Mosaic’s customer service vision: Guide, Anticipate, Exceed

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of multi-client payroll processing experience • Strong experience with multi-frequency payroll processing • Multi-state payroll tax knowledge • Experience in payroll systems; UKG preferred • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to manage multiple deadlines concurrently • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a nice to have • Experience in a managed services or consulting environment is a nice to have • Year-end payroll experience, including W-2s, audits, and corrections, is a nice to have • A completed degree from an accredited University is a nice to have • Ability to process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations • Experience supporting tax filings, amendments, and quarter/year-end activities • Experience with UKG Pro, ADP, or Workday payroll systems
